Learn all about Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) has to offer during a ?Discover RVCC? day Wednesday, June 11, from 5-7:30 p.m., at the Hunterdon County Route 12 Complex (Building 1) in Flemington. The event is free of charge and open to the public.

The event will provide information about the wide variety of programs and services the College offers?from credit degree programs and non-credit professional development courses, to youth enrichment programs and star shows at the planetarium.

Information will be available about the degree and certificate programs RVCC offers that can prepare students for today?s hottest careers. Participants also will learn about the College?s flexible scheduling options, including online and weekend courses and accelerated programs. Information will be available about RVCC?s College for Working Adults, which enables adults to work full-time and earn an associate degree in just 2? years.

Those who attend will have the opportunity to meet with an academic recruiter who will explain the enrollment process, financial aid opportunities and help interested students chart a career path.

The event also will feature representatives from the College?s Corporate & Continuing Education (CCE) division, the Theatre at RVCC and the Planetarium. Participants will be treated to a pottery demonstration, as well as entertainment by a professional storyteller. Those who attend can learn about the Theatre?s upcoming 25th anniversary season, as well as view the sun through on-site telescopes.
