RVCC TO OFFER FINE ART CLASSES FOR CHILDREN

The Corporate & Continuing Education (CCE) division at Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) in North Branch will offer a variety of fine art classes for children this fall. The following classes will be offered:

Techniques of the Masters ?Students ages 6-12 explore the varied techniques, designs and styles of famous artists. The class will be held Wednesdays, September 19 to October 24, from 4-5:30 p.m. The fee for the class is $92.

The World of Art ?Students ages 6-12 explore different cultures by working in art forms indigenous and unique to those parts of the world. The class will be held Thursdays, September 27 to November 1, from 4-5:30 p.m. The fee for the class is $92.

Cartooning I ?Students ages 6-12 draw their favorite cartoon character or create their own characters and creatures using their wildest imagination. The class will be held Fridays, September 28 to November 2, from 4-5:30 p.m. The fee for the class is $92.

The Wonderful World of Book Illustration ?Students ages 10-14 learn about book design, layout, storyboards, finished art and much more. The class will be held Wednesdays, September 19 to October 24, from 4-5:30 p.m. The fee for the class is $92.

Metal Embossing ?Students ages 8-11 explore a unique art form using tools, arm strength and creativity to emboss a design on metal. The class will be held Saturdays, October 6 to October 27, from 10-11:30 a.m. The fee for the class is $74.
