RVCC TO HOLD INFORMATION SESSIONS IN MAY FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS

Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) in North Branch will be offering two Information Sessions in May for prospective students.

The sessions will provide information about the wide variety of degree and certificate programs RVCC offers that can prepare students for today?s hottest careers. Participants also will learn about the College?s flexible scheduling options, including online and weekend courses and accelerated programs.

Information will be available about RVCC?s College for Working Adults, which enables adults to work full-time and earn an associate degree in just 2? years. Information also will be available about English as a Second Language courses.

Those who attend will have the opportunity to meet with an academic recruiter who will explain the enrollment process, financial aid opportunities and help interested students chart a career path. The following sessions will be offered:

May 21: RVCC Conference Center, 5-7 p.m., Rt. 28 and Lamington Road, North Branch

May 28: Flemington Free Public Library, 5-7 p.m., 118 Main Street, Flemington

RVCC is offering three convenient summer sessions this year: A six-week session starting May 19; a nine-week session starting June 2; and a six-week session starting July 7. A nine-week session for English as a Second Language students also will be held beginning May 19.
