RVCC TO OFFER PROGRAMS FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN EXPLORING CAREERS IN PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY
The Allied Health department of Raritan Valley Community College?s (RVCC) Corporate & Continuing Education (CCE) division is offering two courses this fall for those interested in exploring careers in the pharmaceutical industry. Both programs will be held at RVCC?s North Branch Campus.
Clinical Data Management (CDM) in the Pharmaceutical Industry will be offered Saturdays, September 29 to October 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. The course provides the basic preparation necessary to enter the expanding pharmaceutical research arena as a Clinical Data Manager (CDM). The course is designed to prepare students for intermediate-level positions in data management; responsibilities include data review, coding and data editing/clarification. The $1700 cost includes all fees and texts.
A course geared for those interested in exploring a career as a Pharmacy Technician will run Saturdays, September 29 to December 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The program enables students to successfully complete the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam. The $1,144 cost includes all fees and texts.
