The Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) Chorale will present its Spring Concert Friday, May 9, at 8 p.m., in the Welpe Theatre at the College?s North Branch Campus.

The concert, titled ?Sea of Love,? features the romantic Neue Liebeslieder Walzer (?New Lovesong Waltzes?) of Johannes Brahms (1833-1897). The program also includes shape-note hymns, a group of Renaissance madrigals and three traditional folk ballads (?The Three Ravens,? ?The Dreams of Lovely Nancy? and ?I Love My Love?) arranged for the RVCC Chorale by conductor John Sichel. Soprano Heather Keith will be featured as a soloist in the folk ballads.

The following singers are performing with the Chorale: Rachel Coburn, Fallon Rivella, Tracy Neal and Vicky Lynne Morgan, sopranos; Anna Lau, Anna Nierenberg, Cathy Dayton, Ruth Dilley, Wen-ling Hsu and Jane Sausanavage, altos; Rob Kenney and Drew Nielsen, tenors; Estevan Higazi and John Sichel, basses. Drew Nielsen is piano accompanist.
