RVCC TO OFFER COURSE IN AORN PERIOPERATIVE NURSING
The Allied Health department of Raritan Valley Community College?s (RVCC) Corporate & Continuing Education (CCE) division is offering a course in AORN Perioperative Nursing, September 29-January 19.
The course is designed for registered nurses who are interested in becoming certified by The American Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses (AORN) in order to work in operating rooms.
The course includes online instruction as well as hands-on practice in the classroom. Six practicum sessions/clinical labs will be held at Somerset Medical Center one Saturday per month, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., on the following dates: September 29, October 20, November 10, December 1 and January 5.
